Duke Duck and the "little guy" (Howard) are having a drink in a bar populated with anthropomorphic animals while Duke is lamenting his girl has dumped him. Suddenly the little guy vanishes. Duke decides to undergo special forces training and after he completes it, the dying "little guy" appears on his doorstep and relates what happened to him. He tells Duke he was sent to another dimension where he was put under contract to Godcorp (Marvel) and, though he hired a lawyer to try and release himself from his contract, he was ultimately humiliated and shamed into onstage sex acts with a human woman once his novelty had faded. (I guess Steve was unhappy with writer Bill Mantlo's depiction of Howard and Bev's relationship in Howard the Duck magazine) Duke travels to the Godcorp universe and slays Ned Packer (Jim Shooter) and his mother in retaliation for his deceased companion.
NotesEdit
Jack denoted the art for this issue to help with Steve's lawsuit against Marvel hoping to wrest control back of the Howard character.
