Synopsis for "The Messages"Edit

A carnival showman has stolen a shrinking formula and is using captives held against their will in his act. An observer believes that the tiny people are tapping out Morse code on the glass of their cage so he goes to alert police of the situation. The Sergent thinks he's a loony, but he sends two men with him to speak with the suspect. The man denies everything and the police have no evidence, but another message seems to come through asking the carnival showman be forced to drink the entire bottle of shrinking formula as that will cause permanent shrinkage. Faced with this possibility the man confesses and his victims are allowed to return to normal size.

Synopsis for "The Thing On the Beach"Edit

A metallic object is cast out of the ocean onto the beach where it is picked up by a beach comber. He sells the evil object to a junk dealer. The object wishes to absorb pieces from humans in order to become human, but it finds the beach comber old and ugly so instead it absorbs the properties of handsome mannikins. Its own vanity renders it inert and harmless.

Synopsis for "The Last One"Edit

The last of the centaurs hides in a cave when the disbelief of men decimates his specie's population. The cave is unsealed in a storm and the creature rides forth to take vengeance for the annihilation of his kind. He meets two young people who disbelieve in centaurs as well, and the last centaur fades from existence.
