Personal History of George Olshevsky is unknown.
Professional History
Graduate of M.I.T. Olshevksy indexed all of the Marvel Comics major titles in the 1970's and Early 80's. This quite extensive project also employed Lou Mougin and many others. Olshevksy was also aided by a complete personal collection of Marvel Comics.

These indexes were printed independently but with permission from Marvel Comics. Later in the 1980's, Olshevksy contracted with Marvel directly and produced updated indexes for several titles as well as a new self-titled one for Marvel Team-Up.

- As a college student at M.I.T., Olshevksy had a fan letter printed in Doctor Strange #169. He later indexed this issue and all of the series.
