Creepy is an American horror-comics anthology launched by Warren Publishing in 1964. Like Mad, it was a black-and-white newsstand publication in a magazine format and thus did not require the approval or seal of the Comics Code Authority. The anthology magazine was initially published quarterly but later went bimonthly. Each issue's stories were introduced by the host character, Uncle Creepy. Its sister publications were Eerie and Vampirella.
...that Marvel killed President Nixon! While several U.S. Presidents have been in Marvel Comics, none of them have ever been killed off. In Captain America #175, which was published shortly before Nixon resigned from Office, Captain is trying to track down Government corruption. This leads him to the White House where he ultimately sees the President commit suicide.
OK, listen, I just wanted to let you know that I hace noticed the new, flashy display in your blog... because I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING! My tablet is up to date, trust me, but most of the content rema...
Both GFT issues this week were gold. Nice Halloween revenge story and a new character (Kimmay--hate the spelling, dig the exorcism blast). But the best new character award goes to Maria in the Deat...
The Death One-Shot provided a good top-level view of the mechanics of the...can I call it "Under-Realm?" And it's always a sick treat to read Keres at work in GTT. But beyond her popularity--now th...
Sorry, I get ranty sometimes. What it boils down to for me is that Hades is a character who fights for what he wants, whether it be love, revenge, or power. But he went back on his deal with Dracul...
Don't know if anyone else noticed this, or if I'm even right, but the digital edition of VHvD#2 had a couple of pages out of order. On my usual critical note, Hades is bland this issue. I like him a...
Can't say enough how Robyn is my favorite character and title. Wonderland's my second favorite title, but lately Calie's been losing major ground to Robyn's supporting players. First Red had a two-...
I love the new level of personality you've brought to Oz by introducing Rho'kat and giving Adraste more page time. It seems as though by making these two an integral part of the story, you have als...
Huh. That's all I can really say about the latest issue of Wonderland. I mean, there's drama, what with Calie getting all angsty about what happened with Drew and his family last time. And there's t...
I asked this same question months ago, and the answer is: Robyn Hood, GFT #101+, Wonderland 26+, GFT vs Wonder, Goddess, Inc., Helsing v Dracula, (most of) the Year 10 ish's, GTT, Little Mermaid (I...
Correct me if I'm wrong but, didn't Van Helsing die during the lead up to Age of Darkness? I think it great that she's back and all but how is she alive? Or does all this take place before AoD? S...
LOVED Little Mermaid! Hope that you continue it with Finch & Mendonca - they make a GREAT team! Where do I sign the petition to continue the series?
We're very sorry for the delay on digital! We're working with Comixology now to make it available to you as quickly as possible. We're glad you've been enjoying the story so far though!
This may seem like a weird question but was Realm War 10 delayed? Not seeing it on Comixology for digital. Really looking forward to the book. It's an exciting story and the characters are being us...
A few things I'm glad to see: Reign Of the Witch Queen doesn't just follow up on the Warlord mini, it incorporates information from the V2 Tales (like the evil Headmaster from Zamora's Tale and--po...
Yeah, the bookend story in "The Doctor's Garden" was page one-predictable, but the "Rappaccini's Daughter" parable in GTT #11 was one of the most creative, creepy, sexy twists Zenescope has come up...
Hi. I recently found a variant of the Calgary Comic Con (LImited to 350 copies) by Dawn McTeigue/Ula Mos variant, where the cover girl has pink highlights in her hair and has a pink ribbon on her ...
