Champ (comic)
From Hey Kids Comics
- Not to be confused with the Whizzer and Chips strip "The Champ".
Champ was a weekly comic published by DC Thomson from 1984 to 1985. To date, it's been the last weekly boy's comic from the publisher.[1] One of its strips, "We Are United", featured characters from other DC Thomson publications, including Charlie "Iron" Barr from Spike and 'Limp-Along' Leslie.[2] Another feature was entitled "Dennis the Menace's Fun Section"; this consisted of reprints from other comics.[3]
In May 1984 Spike merged into Champ; in October 1985 Champ itself merged into Victor.
Strips included...
