Professional History
W.C. Brigham was an artist for National Allied Publications, a publishing house that would eventually evolve into the current DC Comics. It could be said, that W.C. Brigham is the very first DC artist, having drawn the cover and first story to what is arguably the oldest existing DC comic book, New Fun #1. Brigham contributed material to the remainder of the six-run series, and continued after the series changed its to title to More Fun Comics in 1936.
