Synopsis for "Rumpelstiltskin"Edit

Rumpelstiltskin the demon wants to impress his fellow demons by tattooing the marks of the damned upon a smooth human skin so he approaches a greedy king with a gold-making scheme. A miller and his daughter hear of the king's gold contest so they attempt to offer him the daughter's golden hair, but the miller gets carried away and promises that his daughter can spin straw into real gold. The daughter fears for their lives when she fails to accomplish such a feat, but that evening Rumpelstiltskin appears before her and promises to do it in exchange for her first born. She hastily agrees, and when she marries the king and gives birth a year later she is chagrined that Rumpelstiltskin has not forgotten their bargain. One of the queen's courtiers guesses Rumpelstiltskin's name and so the demon leaves in a huff. Meanwhile, the greedy king has grown tired of his new bride and son and wishes to have them replaced, so he approaches Rumpelstiltskin hoping to make a bargain. At this point, Rumpelstiltskin is frustrated with the whole mess, so he kills the king and uses his skin to present to his fellow demons.
