Two children on a starship are raised by a robot they refer to as 'Mother'. Every year at Christmas Santa brings them gifts until one year Santa reveals that he is the only human survivor of a robot revolt which has killed the crew. He gets one of the kids to blast the robot and takes them to the bridge hoping to turn the craft around and head back to Earth only to find that the ship has crashlanded on a planet long ago.

A psychiatrist marries an insane woman who has murdered her own daughter despite being the father of a small boy. He comes home one Christmas eve to find that she has murdered the child, although in her sick mind, she was portrayed as the victim in the assault. The psychiatrist gives both her and himself a lethal injection.

Synopsis for "A Gift for Momma"Edit

After their stepfather beats their mother to death, one of the brothers kills him with an ax as he lays in a drunken stupor and then goes out to chop down a Christmas tree. The two boys refuse to accept their mother is dead and so have propped the corpse up in a chair which they carry downstairs to display in front of their tree. The corpse of the dead woman's husband, who was killed in a mine cave-in, shambles in through the door and takes his wife by the hand. The dead woman rises and the two of them head back towards the cave. The brothers are glad their parents are together once more.
