Synopsis for "Superman's Ark"Edit

Superman volunteers to visit Africa and bring back wild animals for use in the Metropolis zoo. In the jungle he meets big game hunter Count Von Henzel. Henzel betrays Superman and tries to add Superman to his trophy collection. The Man of Steel escapes the trap and rescues Henzel’s prisoners. Finally, he brings the animals back to the zoo, saving the job of the zookeeper.

Synopsis for "The Case of the Bamboo Death"Edit

Lin Choo, the respected head of the White Lotus Tong in Chinatown, is framed for a series of silk robberies. His grandson Stuff meets Greg Sanders who offers to help as the Vigilante. The cowboy and the Chinatown Kid track down the real crooks and expose them as white men. Vigilante is briefly captured and forced to endure Chinese water torture, until Stuff rescues him. Together they expose the Head, the leader of the crooks, as a Japanese spy intent on starting a Chinatown gang war. Vigilante and Stuff then round up the remaining members of the Head's gang.

Synopsis for "Mister America versus The Thunderbolt"Edit

Acting on a tip Mr. America waits for crooks who plan to steal a supply of gold. Thunderbolt, the leader of the crooks, uses a weapon that fires charges of electricity that knocks out Mr. America. The crooks then escape with the gold. When he regains consciousness, Mr. America traces the truck used by the crooks to the Benson Trucking Company. Mr. America rescues the company's owner, who has been attacked by Thunderbolt and his men. He then finds the crooks, and uses salt water to cause the electrical weapon to backfire. Mr. America then apprehends them and recovers the stolen gold which was going to be used to fund a foreign invasion.

Synopsis for "The Haunted Castle"Edit

While on an archaeological expedition in Syria, Congo Bill comes across a castle rumored to be haunted. Ann, the daughter of the archaeologist Dr. Standish decides to investigate the castle and disappears. Bill begins looking for her and is attacked by a man in chain mail. Bill rescues Ann, then the knight falls to his death. Before dying the man, Dick Baldwin, explains that a treasure is hidden in the castle. He was trying to scare away intruders and had killed his partner. After the man dies, Bill discovers the treasure under the flagstone, ironically, broken by Baldwin's fall. Bill decides to use the treasure to aid victims from the war.

Synopsis for "The Cobra"Edit

Zatara witnesses the kidnapping of a young woman, Sandra Norris. He follows the crooks, but he is captured before he can rescue the girl. The crooks try to get the girl to reveal her boss's safe combination. When she refuses the kidnappers leave her and Zatara to die in a house fire. The crooks then break into the office of Sandra's boss, J. Hamilton Sears. Inside they find their leader, a masked man known as the Cobra. The Cobra gives them the safe combination, and they use it to steal the company payroll. The crooks then frame Sandra's boyfriend George. Zatara and Sandra escape the fire, but are arrested by the police. Sandra and George are blamed for the theft. Zatara uses magic to get out of jail. He then tracks down the crooks and exposes Sears as the Cobra. The man wanted to rob his own company which was insured and intended to frame Sandra for the crime.
